Question Boss Farming?

Ok, first let me say YES, I DID USE SEARCH.

What exactly is 'boss farming'?

Shane

UPDATE

Ok, gotcha. Thanks for that. Sometimes we tend to overstate the obvious. I guess I thought it was something bigger.

Isn't it preety obvious?

It's farming bosses for their green-items.

Or it can refer to Pre Searing as well. The "Bosses" in presearing are lvl 10 and are the highest lvl baddies in all of pre. There are 5 of them. Also if you have the skill cap they can be capped. Only "Bosses" can be capped for skill. Sadly there is no skill cap in pre.

The Bosses in Pre searing drop Charr Bags value 7-800 gold and charr salvage kits valued at 1K per use or 5/5K as often seen in the trade window in ascalon city.

Boss farming is plowing a field, planting boss seedlings, watering them.. then in the autumn, harvesting them to sell at market...

or maybe it's just killing bosses for greens, exp, and elite tomes, using as few people as possible to increase the drop rate for the farmer.

Funny that when I was doing Dejarin Estate boss runs for Dwayna's Grace and Lulu's Spear, that I went through so danged many Kourman troops, with all that farmland in there, that the crops should be fertile as all heck.

I.e. farming runs can take a friggen long time, luck a blasted factor and all. =--= (Got sick of of seeing dumb Kourman quotes by the time Lulu's dropped, a day and a half behind Dwayna's.)

Getting Shagu's Anthem to drop took one try.

There's my answer to the question anyways. =^^=

Painfully true

I must have killed Xeukao the Deceptive 50 times before he dropped his stupid daggers. At least Anet could have put a priest nearby so I could have been getting faction too but noooooooo.......
